Octavo Corporation: Publishes digital editions of rare books and manuscripts.


Off Beat Books: Publishers of books on antique and collectible eggbeaters, apple parers, nutcrackers, and cornhuskers.


Off the Bookshelf: Self-publishing site "offers convenient and accessible methods of converting one's finished book product from a document into either printed, audiobook , or eBook."

Olympia Publishers: Not recommended. Vanity terms not disclosed until after submission. A vanity publisher.


On Q: Offers a free subscription to our WRITER'S SHOWCASE publication, featuring author tips, self published book reviews, and much more. We are always looking for short stories for the Showcase (cannot afford to pay for them; but at least the author has a tear sheet if accepted) and for articles from editors, publicists, printers, etc., that might help self-publishers.
