Author's Ink Chat: Chats appear to be mostly among PublishAmerica authors, though the site welcomes authors with other publishers.


Authors by Design: A writers forum. Looks good, so far.


Authors Round Table: A forum for writers to discuss dreams, writing, and books. Does not tolerate bashing. P&E wishes them luck as it's nearly impossible to discuss books and writing without using critical comments.

PublishAmerica Author Chat: Publisher bans its own writers for asking legitimate publishing questions of it. Not recommended. Authors' chat room. Have to register and be a PublishAmerica author to use. Features numerous misrepresentations and inaccurate statements about publishing which the publisher permits to perpetuate.


PublishAmerica's Public Author Message Board (PAMB): Not recommended. Forum for PA authors only. Site features misinformation. Frequently bans members for posting appropriate questions about writing. Encourages flaming and libel.

Writers Net: Forum dedicated to writers and writing. Plenty of good information. Site appears to be inactive. Site is suddenly banning people with no reason given. ""The admins report that the active members are being harassed and bullied by a disgruntled former member(s)."
